We get our own bed, towel, bowl, a bonio on arrival and even a sausage for breakfast, plus we’re welcome in the bar and on the grass at Fence Gate Lodge. I give my dog-friendliness rating a full 10/10!

• Weight limit: Our superior doubles are suitable for one to two medium sized dogs and we have one junior suite which again is suitable for one to two medium to large size dogs. All these dog friendly rooms are ground floor.

• Areas permitted: reception and all ground floor public areas apart from the breakfast room seperate building the Fence Gate Inn which is a short two minute walk to our bar and restaurant. Dogs are very welcome in the bar area if you would like to dine with us,
• Areas not permitted: Our upper floor is out of bounds for four paws including public areas and rooms and restaurant
• Dog amenities: this includes dog bed, towel for any muddy paws or for drying off if the weather is damp or raining, dog bowls, dog bonio on arrival and a sausage for breakfast for the dog
